About

Why this exists

Most quit-smoking apps are built around a single moment: the day you stop. That works for the people who are ready for it. It does very little for the far larger group who know they vape more than they want to, are not ready to stop entirely, and end up with nothing at all.

The gap this fills

Between “doing nothing” and “quitting today” there is a lot of useful ground. Understanding when and why you vape. Cutting down by a quarter. Going from sixty puffs a day to twenty. None of that is nothing, and for many people it turns out to be the on-ramp to stopping altogether.

This app is built for that middle ground. You choose the goal, including “just track for now”, and you can change it whenever you like.

Three rules we do not break

It never shames you. Logging a puff gets an acknowledgement, not a lecture. Going over your goal shows a neutral colour and a forward-looking sentence, never a red alert. This is not softness — it is the only way honest logging survives, and dishonest logging makes the whole tool useless.

It never encourages vaping. Nothing in the app celebrates nicotine use. Every achievement is earned by tracking, reflecting, or reducing. There is a test in the codebase that fails the build if congratulatory language ever appears next to a logged puff.

It never sells your data. No advertising SDKs, no data brokers, no profile building. Export everything whenever you want, and delete it permanently from inside the app. See the privacy policy for the detail.

What it is not

It is not a medical device and it does not give medical advice. It is not a substitute for nicotine replacement therapy or professional behavioural support, both of which are considerably more effective than any app. And it is emphatically not for anyone who does not already vape — there is no safe level of nicotine use, and reducing is not the same as stopping.

Open source

The app, the API and this website are all public on GitHub. If you want to verify the privacy claims above rather than take our word for them, the code is right there.
